June 14th to 21st 2008 - Neil, Nigel and Toby - Spalding One thing we all agreed on and you can quote me on this - Your fish
ALL fought as if they were twice the size they were! Amazingly hard fighting fish, I'm guessing a lot of them haven't
seen a hook before and they fought like crocodiles!
We had a total of 34 fish for a combined weight of 445lb. On top
of this we must have lost a further 30 fish. Most fell to squid and plum boilies or marine halibut boilies. Odd fish fell to two small 10mm pineapple pop ups. We
lost a couple of bigger cats by fishing 3 large 20mm halibut boilies over a bed of pellet, I had one on for ages
(guessing 30lb+) and got it right in on the double swim and then it kited right into the lilies just off that swim
and it was lost.

March 24th to 30th 2007 - Tim, Matt and Darren - S. Wales Let
me start by thanking you for a wonderful holiday in a beautiful location. The lake was truly stunning and certainly a very
peaceful place. The fishing started slowly with a easterly wind pushing the fish to the dam end. Matt began in the far
bank swim and managed to get to some deeper water and it was he who had the best start to the week. The first night saw him
land a double figure treble of carp, pike and catfish. The wind continued to push the fish down the lake and there was
very little action in front of the chalet. However, after several days of sunshine the action began to pick up. Darren managed
to achieve a new pb of 18lb4oz mirror carp and immediately his holiday was complete. I managed to get amongst the fish
myself as the week progressed and managed to land 8 fish, 7 of which were doubles plus a stunning 11lb7oz Catfish, another
new pb. So the total fish caught for the week was:
22 Carp - biggest 22lb 11oz, 19 doubles! 3 Catfish
- biggest 16lb12oz 1 Pike - 11lb1oz
