Essentially a bivvy lake there is a wooden chalet situated inside the entrance adjacent
to swims 1 and 2 which offers shelter for the less hardy or a place to meet and cook a decent meal.
The chalet contains a few home comforts (see photos below) in the form of cooking and
washing facilities, a 40 litre camping fridge, food storage cupboards, table, chairs and a set of bunk beds (bedding
not supplied). There is an adequate collection of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. In a separate outhouse there is a fully
flushing English style toilet and a hot water shower.
Please note, there is no electricity or fresh drinking water to tap. A generator supplies
electricity (English style) to power the shower and water pump which takes (and filters, so that it is clean) water from the
lake into a 1000 litre storage tank for washing and flushing the toilet. There are small solar powered lights inside both
the chalet and toilet and also one outside the chalet door.
Outside there is a decked and grassed area with BBQ, Bistro Set and picnic bench. Parking
next to the chalet for two vehicles.
