Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before making a booking. The submission of a booking request may not be legally binding, but the completion and signing of the booking form sent to you will be.

 

  • Once we have received your complete booking form and deposit, your holiday will be reserved.  The booking is taken as being confirmed when we have forwarded an invoice to the party organiser.
  • A non-refundable deposit of £100 must be included with your completed booking form.
  • A refundable deposit of £100 against damage/breakages must be included with your final balance.
  • The total balance for your holiday must be received no later than 8 weeks before your departure date (if payment is not received by this date La Cohue Fisheries reserves the right to cancel the booking).  If a booking is made within 8 weeks of departure, the full payment is required with the booking form.
  • If you cancel a confirmed booking you may be subject to cancellation fees:- 

                              Cancellation 8 weeks or more before departure date is deposit only.

                              Cancellation 5-8 weeks before departure date is 50% of the holiday cost.

                              Cancellation less than 5 weeks before departure date is the full cost of the holiday.

 

·          If any changes to the confirmed booking are required, we will try to be as flexible as possible

·         Children of any age are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Persons taking children are reminded that they do so entirely at their own risk. Adults are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their children. Extra care should always be taken near water.

·          Pets are NOT allowed.

·          You are entirely responsible for your own travel arrangements and we accept no responsibility for any problems with travel arrangements, this includes delays, flight/ferry cancellations etc. 

·          IMPORTANT - All holidaymakers must have a valid 10 year passport. You are also required to carry a stamped E111 form, available from your local post office. Visiting motorists in France are also required to carry valid Motor Insurance, MOT test certificate and log book. We recommend that you take out your own personal and travel insurance. It is your responsibility to make sure you have the correct and up-to-date travel documents. Personal and European breakdown insurance is recommended. No insurances are supplied by La Cohue Fisheries. Don’t forget, it is the law in France to carry a first aid kit, warning triangle and spare bulbs.

·         The accommodation is available for your occupation after 4.00pm on the day commencing your holiday and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of your departure. The building and contents must be looked after and left in a clean and tidy condition. If cleaning in excess of 1/2 hour is required after your stay then the cost of this will be deducted from your refundable deposit. The cost of repairing or replacing anything damaged will also be deducted from your deposit and if this does not cover the full amount required, further action will be taken to recoup any and all such losses.

·          Accident damage deposits are returned within fourteen days from the day of your departure providing that everything has been left as it was found.

·          We will not be held liable for loss or delay occasioned by any of the following: Political unrest, Riots, Port closures, Airport terminal closures, Strikes, Industrial disputes, War or Threat of, Terrorist activity, Technical/weather problems to transportation, Fire, Flood, Acts of God, or any other events beyond our control.

·         If you have any complaint of any nature please make this known within 12 hours of arrival. Our representative will make themselves known to you upon your arrival to explain how things work so it would be helpful to know your expected time of arrival. We/they are there to make certain your holiday is a pleasant and enjoyable one. We do however wish to point out that any decision our representative may make is with our full backing and is also final.

·         We reserve the right to terminate your holiday if you are causing harm or disturbance to others, grounds or property.  You will not be eligible for a refund and may incur costs for damage.

·         In event of cancellation of any booking by La Cohue Fisheries their liability is limited to a full refund of all monies paid to them and no others.

·         All persons holidaying with La Cohue Fisheries (anglers and guests) must agree to abide by all rules as laid down by the management.

·         Holiday deposits are taken on the understanding that these terms and conditions have been read and accepted. Signature on the booking form constitutes acceptance of a contract on these terms subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

·       Please note that we cannot take responsibility for money or cheques lost in the post.

 

Remember

Never visit the lake before or after your allocated holiday period. Each party has the right to total privacy during their stay and this should be respected.

La Cohue Fisheries, employees or contractors cannot be held responsible for whatever reason for any incidents or accidents to persons and their belongings, over which it has no control, whilst on its land. In no event will we be liable to you or any other person for loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, special or other).
